I was thinking of implementing it right from the start but it turned out some admins didn't even know what it was yet so i didn't want to rush it, anyway, read about it here:

http://sctfl.soldat.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4260

It was already used in SRL2 so all major bugs are already gone.

What do you guys think?

Seems like a good idea but I think admins should also have an option to confirm matches if the opponent for some reason refuses to do it and admins still think it should be counted.

We just have to make sure that clans are aware of the new rule that you only have one hour time to report matches for the last three days of free play so that they have enough players who can report matches. Then again, 99% of matches are reported instantly so it shouldn't be a problem.

And I like this, less work for us too. Let's hope everyone gets how to use it. Smile

And suggestion: if clans have unconfirmed matches, they should get a warning on top of the forums or something like that. That way they won't be missed.

I wonder what it takes to make all the admins start posting here so that someone doesn't always have to ask them on IRC.

I support using EMTS. It seems it's like a clean system that would increase efficiency while at the same time decreasing the workload on the admins. The worst that could happen is that it wouldn't work out and we'd simply have to revert to the old system—not a big deal. It's worth trying.

I agree with DragonSlayer that the admins should still be able to confirm (as well as void) any matches that we see fit, and that members of a clan should receive a warning at the top of the forum stating that they have matches to confirm.

I thought I said this beofre also, it would be nice for the admins to actually test the EMTS thing out before actually using it in the league.
